Sheet metal welder — Mills County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Mills County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
