We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Door County, Wisconsin. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Your main tasks: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Full-time, day shift.
