Gas metal arc welder — Gulf County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Gulf County, Florida. You will be based on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings The role involves load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
