Gas metal arc welder • Jackson County, Minnesota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Jackson County, Minnesota. You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Day to day you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions.
