What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Your main tasks: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
