Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Mayes County, Oklahoma. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Day to day you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
