Glazing fabricator • Bennington County, Vermont

Vacancy available: we are hiring a glazing fabricator in Bennington County, Vermont. You will work at a busy aluminium fabrication workshop. Day to day you will punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware; load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish; crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine; cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw; anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners; fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware. What we are looking for: • Familiar with ACP cladding and structural glazing • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
