Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Day-to-day duties: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
