Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day On a typical shift you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
