Acoustic insulation fitter — Lauderdale County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Lauderdale County, Alabama. You will be based at an industrial plant. You will fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters. What we are looking for: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges Full-time, day shift.
