Semi-automatic welder wanted in Grant County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Grant County, Nebraska. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
