Join our team: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Ibadan North East, Oyo State. The job is on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
