Immediate opening: gang bricklayer (Mississippi)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Lafayette County, Mississippi. On the job you will handle: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Full-time, day shift.
