Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
