MIG/MAG welder — Bende

Day-to-day duties: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Rotating shifts.
