Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Clay County, Georgia. The role involves: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
