Immediate opening: fire and safety officer (Florida)

Join our team: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Monroe County, Florida. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. The role involves: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Rotating shifts. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
