Aluminium technician wanted in Sheffield

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium technician in Sheffield, England. What we are looking for: • Good finishing sense — no scratches, clean silicone lines • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill Your main tasks: • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site • Crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine • Apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames • Anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. £3,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
