Reinforcement fitter — Awka North

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Awka North, Anambra State. Day to day you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Six days a week, one day off.
