Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. The job is on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard You will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
