MIG/MAG welder — New Hanover County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in New Hanover County, North Carolina. The role involves load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent 1+ years on the tools preferred.
