Now hiring: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Franklin County, Alabama. You will work at a busy construction site. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles The role involves carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks.
