Argon arc welder • Ayamelum, Anambra State

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Ayamelum, Anambra State. The job is on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. ₦1,050 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
