Immediate opening: structural MIG welder (Missouri)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Livingston County, Missouri. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Your main tasks: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
