What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Your main tasks: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads 3+ years on the tools preferred.
