Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Kankakee County, Illinois. The role involves fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified. Ideal candidate: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Full-time with occasional weekends.
