GTAW welder • Ganye, Adamawa State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Ganye, Adamawa State. Day to day you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
