Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dogger in Newport, Wales. You will be based at a shipyard. The role involves fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Part-time with flexible hours.
