Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Dunn County, North Dakota. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) The role involves buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
