Canteen cook — Lauderdale County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a canteen cook in Lauderdale County, Tennessee. Your main tasks: • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces Ideal candidate: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
