Immediate opening: commercial painter (Rhode Island)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a commercial painter in Newport County, Rhode Island. You will be based in a paint and spray workshop. What we are looking for: • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding Day-to-day duties: • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Mix and tint paint to match colour swatches • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
