Now hiring: CNC milling operator (Mississippi)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Winston County, Mississippi. You will work in a toolroom. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Your main tasks: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
