Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar worker in Allegany County, Maryland. The job is on a busy residential building site. The role involves: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level 5+ years on the tools preferred.
