Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Plymouth, England. What we are looking for: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination The role involves: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer £2,600 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
