Powder spray gun operator • Dickinson County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder spray gun operator in Dickinson County, Michigan. The job is at a fabrication and coating plant. On the job you will handle: • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations Requirements: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
