Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in St. Helens, England. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. £16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
