Mobile tyre fitter — Decatur County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mobile tyre fitter in Decatur County, Iowa. Requirements: • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills On the job you will handle: • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
