Gas meter installer — Dimmit County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Dimmit County, Texas. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Able to read isometric and site drawings On the job you will handle: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
