Fabricator-welder • East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. The role involves maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
