Dry lining plasterer • Northampton County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Northampton County, North Carolina. You will work at a new-build housing development. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Day to day you will polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; check walls for plumb and level as you go; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours.
