Urgent requirement: tiler (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tiler in Peoria County, Illinois. You will work on a residential construction site. On the job you will handle: • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges What we are looking for: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
