Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Powder River County, Montana. Your main tasks: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads 2+ years on the tools preferred.
