Steel fixer wanted in La Crosse County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in La Crosse County, Wisconsin. Day to day you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
