Rebar fixer wanted in Yankton County

Join our team: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Yankton County, South Dakota. You will work at a high-rise construction project. You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Your main tasks: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings Six days a week, one day off.
