Immediate opening: lift maintenance fitter (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Mitchell County, North Carolina. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota The role involves: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
