Reinforcement steel fixer • City of Norton, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in City of Norton, Virginia. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) On a typical shift you will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions.
