Lift erector wanted in Alleghany County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift erector in Alleghany County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs The role involves set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; run load and overload tests with test weights; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
