Now hiring: we are hiring a panel welder in Quitman County, Georgia. The role involves maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
