Pipe tig welder — Yagba West

Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Yagba West, Kogi State. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Your main tasks: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
