Now hiring: pipe tig welder (Colorado)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Kiowa County, Colorado. The role involves: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
